SanaVita means healthy or healing life. We envision healing as a unique experience for each person and embrace the many ways we can access a better life for ourselves and those around us.  This may look like one-on-one counseling, a solitary walk on a wooded path, enjoying the beauty of a garden or a sunset, joining with others to advocate for meaningful change, learning new things, creating art, making music, or connecting with animals and people.

SanaVita values community, vulnerability, and lifelong learning. We strive to walk these values out every day in our own lives and in our counseling practice along with a sense of groundedness, an attitude of hope, and mindful intention.

We welcome you, whether you are struggling with the impact of trauma, having difficulty in your relationships, going through a difficult life transition, or simply need a safe place to process what life is bringing you.

Let’s talk about what healing looks like to you.

Sara accepts private pay, Lyra, and Modern Health.

Billy accepts private pay and Lyra only. However, some insurance companies will accept a Superbill, which offsets some or all of our fee. Please check with your insurance company to see if they will accept a Superbill.

Note: You can also pay using your FSA.

  • Insurance companies generally require a diagnosis and limit the number of sessions a person can have. While there are some good reasons to land on a diagnosis, we do not think that diagnoses are necessary all the time, especially when you are seeking counseling to maintain mental health or when you are having a normal response to an abnormal situation.

  • In short, the answer is "no.”

We see "brokenness" as resilience and beauty, recognizing that each of us has a unique history. As a result, the healing process is not the same for everyone. Depending on your current needs, you may benefit from a periodic check-in, an opportunity to talk through a difficult problem, processing grief, working through a traumatic event or trauma history,  navigating life changes, or gaining skills to manage anxiety, depression, or relationships.

We are here to listen and explore ways to increase or maintain your mental health.

Reach out to us for a consultation at no cost to talk about what healing life looks like to you.
